ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
Haji Mushtaq Qadri rahmatullah alai was indeed a shining star. One person from karachi reports that on the morning of the passing of Haji Mushtaq Qadri, or perhaps it was the night before, I don't remember exactly, this person had ziarat of the Sweet Madani AqaSayyedina Muhammad Mustafa [image] . This person said that he saw that Sarkar [image] was saying to Hazrat Abu Bukr Siddiq [image] "Mushtaq Qadri is coming, and when he comes I want you to greet him too and we will listen to a naat sharif recited by him."
Also, someone told me that either a sister or aunt of Haji Mushtaq Qadri sahib saw him in a dream after his passing, and saw Haji Mushtaq Sahib standing in front of the Kaba Sharif reciting a naat.
Even if someone declines to believe these incidences, no one can doubt the great love that Hazrat Maulana Ilyas Qadri sahib had for Haji Mushtaq Sahib. Truly, he was Attar-ka-Piyara. He achieved the status that millions of people would like to achieve, he won the affection of his murshid
It is said that the father of Haji Mushtaq Qadri rahmatullah alai was also an extremely pious man. When his son (ie. Haji Mushtaq Qadri) was born, he told his wife (ie. Haji Mushtaq Sahib's mother), only feed mother's milk to this boy when you are in a state of wuzu. Haji Sahib started reciting naat sharif with much enthusiasm at a very young age.
Even when he was older in his 20s and 30s (he lived till age 32 only), he never accepted any money to come to recite naat sharif. He never request that some car be sent to pick him up to take him to any mehfil. In fact, he would never even request for money to pay for the rickshaw. The biggest record label companies in pakistan would offer him a blank check (ie. as much money as he wanted) if he would record tapes and CDs for them to sell. Haji Mushtaq Sahib never accepted this money. He only made recordings for Dawat-e-Islami which were distributed either at cost, or if any profit was made from the hadia, then that money would go into Dawat-e-islami.
When it came time for Haji Mushtaq's last breaths, Hazrat Maulana Ilyas Qadri sahib was in the UAE. Haji Mushtaq was laying on his bed unable to speak due to his illness, and the telephone was put to his ear. Hazrat Maulana Ilyas Qadri sahib said some words to Haji Mushtaq and also told him to recite kalma as per way of the ahle sunnat. Then Haji Sahib took his last breath. Hazrat Allama Maulana Ilyas Qadri sahib immediately returned to karachi where he led the namaaz-e-janaza of Haji Mushtaq. Many hundreds of thousands of people attended the janaza. They were all reciting the famous naat sharif written by Imam e Ahle Sunat Maulana Shah Ahmad Raza Khan rahmatulla alai, "Kabay kay badruduja tum pay karoron durood", as is the tradition of the ahle sunnat people.
People from everywhere around the world including places far and wide like Korea and the US recited countless number of quran-e-majeed, durood sharif, and other types of ibadah for the isaal-e-sawaab of Haji Sahib.
His mazaar was made at Dawat-e-Islami's Sehra-e-Madinah ground near the new subzi mandi in karachi. The room from which Haji Mushtaq Sahib did his work and spent time in was sealed off, until his son who is currently attending dars-e-nizami becomes finished with his education and tarbiyat. Then it will given to him.
Mushtaq Qadri Rehmatullah Ta ala alaih was a very pious person.
When his murshid told him to sit somewhere he would not get up without his permission. Once Ameer-e-Ahle sunnat[image] was asked "how should a naat khwan be?" he replied "like Mushtaq Qadri" Subhan Allah! This was the love Ameer-e-Ahle sunnat[image] kept for Hajji Mushtaq Rehmatullah Ta ala Alai. Mushtaq Qadri was known as Attar ka piyara. This was because he always put his deen before his own affairs. Whenever Ameer-e-Ahle sunnat[image] told him to go to so and so for deen he would say Lubaik.
It is no wonder that he had so many quran paak read for him when he died, (something like in millions). A young girl saw Hajji Mushtaq rehmatullah ta ala alaih in her dream after he had passed away, he was in sweet smelling gardens, she asked what Allah Azzawajal had done with him, he replied I have passed all the different tests of Allah Azzawajal in my life and with the help of my murshid.
Subhan Allah, Mash'Allah. I have never heard of a more pious naat khwan. They say when Hajji Mushtaq rehmatullah ta ala alaih would pause between his lines in his naats he became so still that it looked as though he had breathed his last breath. I have also heard that whilst reciting naats Hajji Mushtaq rehmatullah ta ala alaih could invision Huzoor-e-akram sallalaho alaihi wasallim.
